START WHERE YOU ARE
You don't need to be flexible. You don't need previous yoga experience. And you don't need to arrive looking for anything profound.
You may want to move better. Work on stiff hips, shoulders or hamstrings. Build strength and balance. Take care of your back. Breathe more freely. Or simply have some space away from the demands of the week.
That's enough.
The practice starts with the body you have and where you are today.

MORE THAN MOVEMENT
We work with the body, breath and attention together.
The physical practice develops strength, mobility, balance and coordination, while creating space for greater concentration, awareness and stillness.
You don't need to arrive interested in yoga philosophy or meditation.
You can start with the body.
The rest can emerge through practice.

WHY YOGA FOR MEN?
Men don't need a different yoga.
But many men benefit from a different way into it.
Yoga for Men offers a straightforward environment in which men can work seriously with their bodies while discovering the wider practice of yoga.
There is no need to be flexible, experienced, spiritual or familiar with yoga terminology.
The approach is accessible. The practice remains yoga.

Why this work is offered in a men-only space
This work focuses on men because certain conditions support depth more effectively.
Men and women tend to carry strength, tension, and flexibility in different areas of the body.
When the practice is designed specifically for men, these patterns can be addressed directly, creating stability, safety, and effectiveness.
A men-only container also supports a particular quality of attention.
-
Effort becomes more honest.
-
Comparison and adaptation soften.
-
Silence and continuity are easier to access.
This creates favourable conditions for nervous system regulation, embodiment, and sustained practice.
As men become more grounded, their presence naturally influences the environments they belong to. As fathers, sons, brothers, partners, colleagues, and friends, their steadiness has a ripple effect beyond the individual.

A PRACTICE THAT DEVELOPS
There is a progressive structure behind the practice. Strength, mobility, breath and attention develop over time, and familiar elements return so that you can experience your own progress.
But there is no need to start at a certain point.
Every class is complete in itself.
You can join at any point in the year and at any level. Regular practice simply allows the different pieces to accumulate and deepen.

WHAT YOU MAY NOTICE
With regular practice, changes tend to appear gradually and naturally.
Men often experience:
-
greater physical stability and ease
-
clearer breath awareness and nervous system regulation
-
more stable attention and reduced mental noise
-
a grounded presence in relationships and professional life
-
an increased ability to meet challenges with composure
Joy, peace, and clarity arise as byproducts of balance and coherence.
They emerge when effort is appropriate, attention is steady, and the body no longer holds unnecessary tension. These experiences develop through consistency rather than intensity.
GROUNDED MEN
For me, a grounded man isn't someone who is permanently calm or has everything figured out.
It is someone increasingly able to recognise what is happening within himself without immediately being controlled by it.
Strength can coexist with sensitivity. Effort with the ability to let go. Responsibility with freedom.
Yoga gives us somewhere to practice that.

EDU
Certified Yoga Teacher
Hi, I'm Edu.
I've practised yoga for more than twenty years. I'm a certified yoga teacher and professional coach, and my teaching is shaped by long-term personal practice, years of teaching men, and a professional life spent in demanding international environments.
I created Yoga for Men because I wanted to make the depth of yoga accessible to men without requiring them to fit a particular image of what a yoga practitioner looks like.
My teaching is structured, practical and attentive to the individual.
And after more than twenty years, I remain a student of the practice myself.
